The risk I took with this man and machine drawing I made was the phone and headphones. I wasn't too sure about it because it is so small but I just went with it. Even though it seems small I still believes it ties it together and makes it a great picture.
Whenever I first started drawing I was not good at making hands. Through a lot of practice I was able to make the picture below. Shading was also another weak point for me; but I have improved through more practice and learning new techniques.
I don't necessarily create my own original ideas; usually I take something from something else and alter a few aspects (although I think that's what creating original ideas is). As in this picture I took the idea of losing an arm and having a robotic arm from "Star Wars" and turned it into this.
I reflect over my art every so often; especially when I want to make it really good. Usually, I would do as much as I thought of in my head, then look back. That's when I start thinking of more ideas that actually ends up making it look even better than before.
Most my artwork I do usually portrays my interests I have in real life. I don't really draw anything with issues; mostly just fun. My artwork shows how much fun I can be and my love for nerd/dork/geek things.
